Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) is all set to conduct the JNVST 2022 Class 6 examination on April 30 at selected centres across the country. The Jawaharlal Nehru Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) shall be held through the computer-based format, for registered students who wish to seek admission in Class 6. Already, NVS has issued admit cards to Class 9 applicants for the admission test scheduled on April 09, 2022. Hence, there is a high possibility of Class 6 admit cards coming out soon. However, an exact date is yet to be specified.
On the basis of past-year records, NVS releases the JNVST Class 6 admit cards around 5-9 days before the commencement of JNVST examination. Going by this logic, admit cards for registered candidates are likely to release between April 21 to 25, 2022. The exam is all set to be held on April 30, 2022, through the online mode. However, students must note that this is just an assumption which is neither confirmed or rejected by NVS.
Following is a table summarising the past-year events –
Year | Admit Card Release Date | Date of Examination | Difference |
2022 | April 21-25, 2022 (tentative) | April 30, 2022 | 5-9 days |
2020 | January 06, 2020 | January 11 & April 11, 2020 | 5 days |

Registered aspirants must note that the JNVST 2022 admit cards shall be issued through the online mode, on the official website navodaya.gov.in. Candidates are instructed to only rely on the official website and not trust any third-party website for their hall tickets. Furthermore, NVS will not be issuing any hall ticket through offline mode or in-person. So, it is expected for each candidate to download and print a copy of the hall ticket before the exam date.
Once released, candidates can download their JNVST 2022 Class 6 admit card by entering their username, password, and the captcha code displayed on the screen. The admit card download link shall be made available on the official website’s homepage, in the pop-up window. While waiting for this link, candidates are instructed to jot down their login credentials in a book or diary to not forget them. This will enable them to access their admit cards as soon as possible, without encountering any last-minute issues.
