Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University has released the date sheet for Private UG and PG 2018 exams. It has been uploaded on the official website of the University, which is jmicoe.in. The exams will be conducted in the month of April.
The exam will be held from Monday to Sunday. On Mondays to Fridays, it will be held from 2:30 pm to 05:30 pm and 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. However, on Saturday and Sunday, it will only be conducted in the morning shift.

For B.A and B.A Hons and M.A / M.A Hons course, the candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination. However, for B.A Islamic Studies / Examination the minimum required marks in 45% only.
The qualifying exam for B.A courses in Senior Secondary School Certificate or class 12 and equivalent. Candidates seeking admission in M.A courses should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in respective subject. Candidates who have done engineering course cannot apply for the admission as private students.
Certain things to note are that the candidates who have obtained M.A degree from JMI are not eligible for private admission. Also, the private candidates will not be able to apply for regular admission in the University.
The Private UG and PG exam will be held in offline mode. The candidates will get the question paper in Urdu, Hindi or English languages but the question paper for Science, Engg., Commerce subjects, B.A. (H) Sociology, Economics and M.A (other languages) will only be provided in the English language.
Candidates appearing for the examination must study as per the syllabus of the examination. For each course, the copy of JMI syllabus is available at the concerned department of Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi – 110025. Candidates can obtain it from there.
Candidates who registered for the exam will be soon issued the admit card. The admit card will also be issued online, at jmicoe.in. In order to download it, the candidates will have to login by entering the Login Id and Date of Birth. The admit card is an important document and is to be kept safe.
