Jammu And Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released the provisional or tentative answer keys for the recently-held Sub-Inspector Recruitment 2022 examination. An answer key has been released in PDF format, on the official website jkssb.nic.in, along with a public notice. This notice specifies important instructions about the objection facility to raise concerns against the provisional draft. This facility starting today, March 28, shall remain open till March 31, 2022. The OMR-based written exam was successfully conducted across the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir on March 27, 2022.

The JKSSB Sub Inspector answer key has been released online, on the official website jkssb.nic.in. To access the provisional draft, candidates must visit the official portal. Thereafter, on the homepage of the website, they must search through the ‘What’s New‘ section. On doing so, candidates must click on the “Notice regarding Tentative Answer Key & seeking of representations (if any) for the OMR Based Objective Type Written Examination for the posts of Sub-Inspector (Police), (Home Department), UT Cadre, Under Item No 668, Advertisement Notice No 06 of 2021, held on 27th of March 2022.” link. Using the JKSSB Sub Inspector Objection Facility
The JKSSB Sub Inspector objection facility has been made activated on the official portal for candidates to raise objections against the provisional answer key. To do so, they must visit the official website and click on the objection facility link present below the ‘Disclaimer‘ tab. This will lead to a new page asking for login credentials including application number, date of birth, post name, and captcha code. Aspirants must enter these credentials and click on the ‘Login‘ option to access the facility.
While mentioning the incorrect and correct answers to respective questions, each aspirant is instructed to provide proper justification and documentary evidence. Only if the board finds merit in the justification, the objections shall be accepted and incorporated.
To submit multiple objections, a candidate must click on the ‘Save and Continue‘ option. However, to submit only one objection, they can directly click on the ‘Submit‘ option.

Overview of Exam & Statistics
As per official sources, the JKSSB Sub Inspector examination was held across the UT for a total of 1200 posts. The exam was organized in 322 centers spread across 16 districts. As many as 1,13,861 aspirants had registered for the recruitment exam out of which, 97,793 (85.95) appeared.
How to Calculate Tentative Marks
In addition to raising objections, a candidate can also use the JKSSB Sub Inspector provisional answer key for calculating their tentative scores. To do so, they must compare the answers to their responses and determine the total number of correct responses. After doing so, the following marking scheme can be utilized –
