The University of Jammu has released the notifications for Jammu and Kashmir State Eligibility Test on December 10, 2021. The JKSET 2021 is scheduled to commence on May, 15, 2022, and the registration window for the JKSET exam will remain open from December 20, 2021 to January 20, 2022. Interested candidates can apply for the JKSET 2021- 2022 session from the official website of the University of Jammu i.e set.uok.edu.in.
The candidates can make corrections in their JKSET application forms from January 21, 2022 to January 24, 2022 and no rectification requests will be entertained later. With the dates of JKSET 2021, the conducting body has also released the centre of examination, guidelines and eligibility criteria for the interested candidates. The notification brochure is published on the official website of the University of Jammu.
The candidates interested to apply for the JKSET 2021 are expected to know the complete procedure in order to avoid further inconvenience. The complete procedure regarding filling of the JKSET 2021 application form is provided below.
Step 1: Visit the official website of University of Jammu i.e set.uok.edu.in
Step 2: Click on the option “JKSET application form 2021” mentioned on the homepage
Step 3: Fill out the required details in the JKSET application form
Step 4: After entering the details, upload the passport size photo and signature of the candidates
Step 5: Now, submit the application form and proceed to pay the application fee
Step 6: The candidates are now required to submit the application fee for the JKSET application form and finally submit the form
Step 7: After the submission of the application form, the candidates can take a print out copy of the form for further use.
It should be noted that the candidates from reserved category are required to submit their category certificate along with the application form at the SET office in University of Jammu/ Kashmir before the last date. The general category candidates are required to submit Rs 1000 as the application fee, the RBA/ ALC candidates need to submit Rs 800, WUP candidates need to submit Rs 700 and the candidates belonging to the SC/ ST/ PWD/ CGB category are required to submit Rs 650 as the JKSET application fees. The details which are required to be mentioned in the application form includes personal details, educational qualifications and details about the JKSET examination. The candidates are advised to upload all the documents in the format provided by the conducting body.
The eligibility criteria is published by the conducting body on the information brochure. Prior to filling the JKSET application form, the candidates are advised to go through the JKSET eligibility criteria carefully. Also, the candidates should check the guidelines and centre of examination mentioned by the conducting body and apply accordingly for the examination.
The JKSET exam is conducted once a year by the University of Kashmir for the eligible candidates seeking jobs for the post of Assistant Professor in various colleges and Universities of Jammu and Kashmir. The candidates are required to qualify the cut off marks decided by the conducting body in order to secure final rank. Candidates qualifying the examination are provided an eligibility certificate which is the prime significance while applying for the Assistant Professor recruitments in Jammu and Kashmir.
