Recently, a date sheet of class 11 annual board exams of the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is being shared on social media platforms. However, it is now confirmed that this date sheet is fake. JKBOSE Joint Secretary Examination Aijaz Hakak has confirmed this update about the false date sheet. As per the viral date sheet, the class 11 examinations are set to begin from December 18, 2021, and continue till January 13, 2022. This date sheet mentioned the exam routine for Science, Arts, Home Science, and Commerce streams.
Various Twitter users have also alerted students about the date sheet and asked them not to pay attention to these. It must be noted that the fake date sheet is also being circulated by various YouTube channels claiming it to be the latest update. However, there has been no official update about the class 11 exams so far. Hence, it is reiterated that students and guardians should only rely on official news and updates. One of the best ways to do this is to keep a tab on the official JKBOSE website – jkbose.nic.in.
Sources say that the JKBOSE class 11 examinations will commence after the class 10 and 12 examinations are held. The class 12 exams will conclude on December 04 while the class 10 exams will end on December 06. However, the date sheet for the class 11 examinations will be released in due course of time. It is likely that the students will have to appear for the examination from their respective schools.
As per the Joint Secretary, the class 11 exams will begin after December 07, 2021. JKBOSE has reduced the entire syllabus of classes 10, 11, and 12 by 30% due to the closure of schools and educational institutions owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. Sources say that the students have been further asked to attempt 70% of the entire question paper. Now, according to reports, both the theory and practical examinations of JKBOSE class 11 will be conducted following the previous year guidelines.
There will be supervisory staff who will be appointed by the respective schools. However, the action of appointing these staff members has to be confirmed later on. Moreover, the admit cards for the said examination will be prepared by JKBOSE itself. All sorts of confidential material, answer books along with stationery items will be provided by the Board just like how it was done previously. Lastly, the evaluation process will be taken care of by JKBOSE itself.
