Bihar Secondary Education Board (BSEB) has announced the official schedule of Matric (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) board exams 2022 today, dated, November 20, 2021. The schedule was announced via a tweet on the state board’s Twitter handle, @officialbseb. The board posted images of the exam schedule in their tweet. Accordingly, the Matric Annual Exams 2022 are all set to begin from February 17, 2022. Before this, Class 12 or Inter Annual Exams 2022 will commence from February 01, 2022.
The Bihar state board today, at 7:39 am, tweeted the official schedule of Class 10 board exams for the academic year 2021-22. Exams will be conducted from February 17 to 24, 2021. Class 10 students will be segregated into two shifts – first shift from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm, and the second shift from 1:45 pm to 5:00 pm. However, in the case of Science subjects, candidates will get time from 9:30 am to 12:15 pm in Shift 1, and 1:45 pm to 4:30 pm in Shift 2.
Although the Bihar Matric Annual 2022 exams will be held for 3 hours, all candidates will receive 15 minutes extra to read and understand the question paper. Additionally, candidates with disabilities will receive two provisions – scribe facility, and 20 minutes in addition to the standard duration of the examination.
Additionally, BSEB has changed the applicable list of subjects for candidates facing eyesight issues. During the Bihar Matric Annual Exams 2022, such candidates will have to appear for music instead of Science and Home Economics instead of Mathematics. Home Economics will be held on February 17, 2022, while Music will be conducted on February 18, 2022. Practical exams for such alternate subjects will be held from January 20 to 22, 2022.
BSEB also announced the Bihar Inter Annual Exams 2022 today as well, via their official Twitter handle. Along with an image of the official schedule, the board provided a Google Drive link to access the schedule PDF. According to the schedule, BSEB is set to conduct the Class 12 board exams 2022 from February 01 to 14, 2022. Practical exams for these students will be held from January 10 to 20, 2022.
The Bihar Inter Annual Exams 2022 shift timings remain the same as applicable for Matric exams. However, in the case of subjects like N.R.B, MB. Alt. English, MB Urdu, and MB Maithili, exams will be held from 1:45 pm to 3:30 pm. No reasons have been specified for this oddity. Given the fact that only a few students have opted for these subjects, it can be assumed why only the afternoon shift with reduced duration is organized.
All candidates will receive a “cool-off” timing of 15 minutes prior to the commencement of Class 12 board exams. They have to utilise this time for reading and understanding the question paper. However, no candidate is allowed to write anything during this cool-off time. Students are advised to download or print a copy of this exam schedule and follow it strictly to ensure that they do not miss out on any exam.
