Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education has postponed the exam dates of class 12 students who are going to appear for Summer-Zone Jammu Division exams. For this, the board has also released In a notification at jkbose.ac.in. In the notice, it is mentioned that the exams which were scheduled on February 23 and 26, 2019 has been delayed. The new dates are not mentioned not on the circular. The board will notify the new exam dates very soon. However, the exams scheduled March 01, 2019 onwards will be conducted as per the time table.
The exams of the subject Geography/ Psychology/ Geography/ Music/ Philosophy/ Education/ Clothing for the Family were scheduled on February 23 while the board had specified the exams of General English on February 26, 2019. So, now, these exams will be conducted on different dates. The rest of the exams will be held on the predefined dates.
JKBOSE has not specified the reason behind the postpone of the exams yet. However, it is expected that this has happened due to the stress existing in the area after the Pulwama attack. The region is under curfew at present.
According to the JKBOSE 12th Date Sheet 2019 Summer Zone for Jammu, the exams will begin from March 01, 2019. The first exams will be of Computer Science/ Informatics Practices/ Environmental Science/ Functional English/ Physical Education/ Islamic Studies/ Vedic Studies/ Buddhist Studies/ Electronics. Till now, the last date for the exams is March 28, 2019. The candidates will appear for Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics/ Sociology on the same date. However, the last date of the exams would be changed once, the board will release the new dates.
The board will conduct the exams in the morning shift. So, the students will appear for the exams from 11:00 am.
The practical exams were held from February 01, 2019. For the said examinations, the date sheet is applicable for the eligible candidates only. The students are advised to follow all the instructions available on the admit card. It is mandatory for the candidates to carry the admit card at the time of going for the exams.
