ICSI Announces CS Foundation 2018 Result; Online Verification of Marks to Start from 23 Feb

ICSI CS Foundation Dec 2019 Result Announced

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has announced the result for CS Foundation Dec 2019 exam. The result has been announced on February 21, 2019 at 11:00 AM. The candidates can check their result online at ICSI official website, icsi.examresults.net. The exam for CS Foundation 2018 was conducted on December 29, 2018, for Paper 1 & 2, and on December 30, 2018, for Paper 3 & 4. 

The candidates will be able to check their result by visiting the official website of ICSI. Next, the candidates need to log in by entering their Roll Number and their 17 digit Registration Number. Click on the “Go” button to submit the details. Finally, on submitting the details, the result of the candidate will appear on the screen.

Along with the CS Foundation Result 2018, the Institute has also uploaded the Formal e-Result-cum-Marks Statement of Foundation Programme Examination. It has been uploaded on the website, icsi.edu. The candidates need to download it from the official website only, as the Institute does not send the physical copy of Result-cumMarks Statement to the candidates.

The declaration of CS Foundation Dec 2018 Result states the score and qualifying status of CS aspirants who took the exams. A candidate should have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in each subject and 50% marks in the aggregate of all the subjects put together at one sitting. Candidates who meet the minimum cut-off as determined by ICSI will ascertain themselves as qualified to appear for the next stage to become a CS or Company Secretary. 

ICSI has also published a notification regarding the verification of marks for CS Foundation Dec 2018 examination. The candidates can apply for verification of marks within 30 days from the date of declaration of results. The facility for verification of marks can be done either by Online mode or by Offline mode. The online facility for verification of marks will be active from February 23, 2019, till March 23, 2019. The candidates have to pay an amount of Rs. 250 per subject for applying for verification of marks.

CS Foundation Course is the first of the three stages to become a Company Secretary. It is a 10+2 level module for aspiring students. Candidates who have now qualified the foundation programme shall now proceed to pursue and crack the executive programme followed by the professional programme. In every stage, The exam is conducted twice in a year i.e. in June and in December. Upon clearing the third stage i.e. the professional programme, the candidate will be declared as a certified Company Secretary by ICSI.
