Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) will conduct Civil Judge (Junior Division) Main exam on September 13 and 14, 2019. This is the second phase of Civil Judge Recruitment Advt. No. 12/2018, for filling 107 Civil Judge (lower division) vacancies in the state of Jharkhand. Only those candidates will be called for Main exam, who qualified Prelims exam. The qualifying candidates of Prelims need to download the Civil Judge Main application form from jpsc.gov.in and submit it to the Commission by August 20, 2019.
The application form has to be submitted in the prescribed format. After reaching the website, the candidates need to scroll down and click on the link for “Click Here to Download Online Application of the Civil Judge (JD) Advt. No.12/2018”. On clicking the link, a login opens and to access it candidates have to enter registration number and date of birth. Those who have forgotten the registration number can retrieve from the same login using email ID, mobile number, and date of birth. Then, from the dashboard, the candidates can download the application form.
Candidates have to download the application form and get it printed on an A4 sheet. All the details in the application form are to be filled accurately and neatly. The candidates need to speed post or post the filled in application form with the required documents to the Commission. The documents to be posted with the application form include, DoB certificate or class 10 certificates, class 12th certificates, advocates Act 1961 registration certificate, other higher educational certificates (if applicable), caste certificate, sports certificate (if applicable), and No-objection certificate (if applicable).
The Civil Judge Main exam comprises of six papers, which are held in a duration of 3 hours. Paper 1 and 2 are of 100 and 150 marks, respectively, and are language based paper. The remaining 4 papers are of 200 marks each and subject based papers. The language based papers composes of topics from General Hindi, and General English, A language and a literature paper. The subject based paper will be based on – Social science, Indian politics, Indian economy, globalization, sustainable development and from General science / environment / technology development.
The candidates who pass the test thereafter has to sit for the interview round of 100 marks. To clear the interview, the unreserved category candidates needs to score a minimum of 25% marks and 20 % marks are required for the reserved category applicants. The result will be made on the basis of scores obtained in Mains and the interview. The selected candidates will get a salary between the pay scale of Rs 27,700 to Rs 44,770 per month along with allowances.
About Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) : The Jharkhand Public Service Commission was constituted by the Governor of Jharkhand under the provision of the Article 315 of the Constitution of India. JPSC was established with an aim for conducting written examinations and interviews for the candidates for any government posts in the state.
