Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has finally declared class 10th result 2020 on Wednesday, July 08 at 1 PM. Around 3.8 lakh students appeared for Jharkhand class 10 exam this year which was held between February 11 and 28. The result can be checked online at jacresults.com, jac.jharkhand.gov.in.
Students can check Jharkhand board 10th result online from JAC’s official website jacresults.com, jac.jharkhand.gov.in. On the homepage of the website, students need to click on their relevant class link. Next, log in by entering roll code and roll number. Click on the submit button after entering the login details after which the result will be displayed on the screen. Students may download or save a copy of it and can also take a print out of it.
Other than the official website, Jharkhand board also declared class 10th result at third party websites like indiaresults.com, examresults.net. If a student is unable to check their result from the official website due to any reason, the website is taking too much time to load or is not loading at all, they can easily check their result from these third party websites.
A total of 75.01% students have passed class 10th Jharkhand board exam 2020. Boys have outshined girls this year as well. The pass percentage for boys is 74.25 while girls’ pass percent is 75.88. Compared to previous year, the overall pass percentage for JAC 10th exam 2020 has improved by 5%. Last year, the pass percentage was 70.81 which has now increased to 75.01 this year.
Last year, the board declared JAC 10th result in the month of May, the same was expected for this year as well, however, it was delayed due to COVID-19 outbreak. Due to the nationwide lockdown, the board was not able to complete the evaluation process on time which resulted in the delay in declaration of JAC 10th result 2020.
In the previous year, the state recorded 70.77 passing percentage in the class 10 exams with 1,67,916 candidates out of the 4,41,605 securing first division marks. Boys performed better than girls in the year 2019 examination. It will be no doubt exciting to see how fare will these two genders perform in 2020 exam.
Those students who are not satisfied with their result are also provided with an option to apply for re-evaluation. For this, they will need to submit an application form along with a fee as decided by the board. Whereas, those who fail to obtain minimum passing in one or two subject will be given another chance to clear the exams by appearing in JAC 10th compartment exam.
Meanwhile, the board is expected to declare JAC class 12th results 2020 by the end of July. As per the media reports, around 6.21 lakh students had appeared for the board exams this year.
