National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021 result at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The result has been announced for February session and all the candidates who appeared for the exam on February 23, 24, 25, 26 can now check their score and percentile. NTA is also expected to soon release admit card for the JEE Main March session, which is on March 15, 16, 17, and 18, 2021.

To check the result of JEE Main 2021 exam, candidates need to visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Next, on the homepage of the website, click on the link for “Check JEE Main 2021 Result”. On clicking the link, a portal opens and to access it candidates need application number and password / date of birth. Once the portal opens, candidates can check JEE Main February 2021 result from the dashboard.

The scorecard for JEE Main 2021 consists of details like application number, roll number, candidate’s name, mother’s name, father’s name, category, gender, state of eligibility, nationality, NTA score in all subjects, overall percentile, etc.

The NTA scores are normalised scores which are prepared based on the relative performance of all those who appeared for the entrance examination in one session. After this, the marks obtained are converted into a scale ranging from 0 to 100 for each exam session. It is to be noted that the NTA score is not as same as the percentage of marks obtained.

There are three other chances for the aspirants to appear for JEE Main 2021 and improve their performance. The application form process for March session is already as the last date to submit the form was March 6. However, the form for April and May session has not yet been released. NTA shall soon announce the schedule for the release of application form both the sessions.

After JEE Main Feb / Mar / Apr 2021 result is announced,  the result of the exam releases in form of percentile. Furthermore, candidates will also get to know about their All India Rank (AIR) and the cutoff for JEE Advanced. After the final JEE Main 2021 result is announced, the qualified candidates can apply for JEE Advanced, whereas, the rest of the candidates can appear for the JoSAA counseling for admission in the NITs, CFTIs, and the IIITs.

Through JEE Main 2021 score, candidates are offered admission to 31 National Institute of Technology (NIT), 25 Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIIT), and 28 Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTI). This year, due to the COVID-19 situation, the criteria for admission to these institutes have been changed. Hence, now the candidates just need to qualify in their 10+2 exam and no minimum marks are needed for admission in IITs, NITs, and CFTIs.
