December 17, 2018, is the date when more than 9 lakh registered candidates of JEE Main will be downloading their admit card to appear in the exam. However, the admit card has yet not been released. When we tried contacting the NTA official over the phone there was no response. However, over the mail, they have replied “Kindly wait for some time”

Now, the delay for the release of admit card is yet no clear. Thus, the candidates who are patiently waiting for the admit card are thus advised, to keep tracking the JEE Main 2019 official website for the release of the admit cards/hall tickets.
The JEE Main 2019 Admit Card for the January exam will be available under the candidate’s login. The login will be accessible when the application number and password are entered correctly.
Thus candidates have to make sure they have the application number and password handy with them. The admit card is an important document that has to be downloaded and carried to the exam centre.
Not only the admit card but a valid photo id proof in original is also to be carried for verification. A valid photo id proof will be any of these: PAN Card, Voter’s ID Card, Aadhar Card, Driving Licence etc.
make sure the photo id card is original. NTA has not specified whether a coloured or black and white print of the admit card is to be carried at the centre. Thus, candidates are free to carry any pribt of the admit card, ensuring that the print out is clear and the photo and signature on the admit card is clear.
Another important thing to know is the bell timings of JEE Main 2019. The JEE Main 2019 exam is being conducted in 2 shifts and in online mode only. The shift 1 of the exam will be conducted from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and the second shift from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
entry for the first shift of the exam will be from 7.30 a.m. up to 8.30 a.m. For shift 2, the entry will be made from 12.30 p.m. up to 1.30 p.m. Candidates have to reach the exam centre as per these timings.
There will be strict frisking at the exam centres. Last year, metal detectors were also installed at the examination centres. Thus the candidates have to also take care that they don’t carry any metallic items or their dresses are free of any metallic elements.
