Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, is all set to conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2021 examination tomorrow, October 03, 2021. After much wait and anticipation, the top 2,50,000 rankers of JEE Main 2021 examination will be able to compete for a seat in the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology. They will be awarded a seat and a course based on their preference, number of seats available, merit and reservation. However, for this, candidates have to score equal to or more than their category cut-offs i.e., the minimum marks to qualify the exam. These cut-offs will be known around the time of JEE Advanced 2021 result declaration.

JEE Advanced 2021 Paper Pattern & Marking Scheme Overview
JEE Advanced 2021 examination will be conducted tomorrow in the form of two papers – Paper I and Paper II. The first paper will be held from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. After an hour and half’s break, the second paper will be conducted from 2:30 to 5:30 pm. Of course, PwD candidates have benchmark disabilities will be given an additional hour each to complete both papers. Hence, their paper timings will be from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
While candidates are well-versed with the JEE Advanced 2021 paper pattern, here’s a quick overview to ensure that they are on the right track –
# As pointed out before, each paper will be held for a duration of 3 hours or 180 minutes. Moreover, all candidates must appear for both papers to be eligible for the counselling process.
# Each paper will comprise of three distinct subject sections – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
# Questions in the paper will be designed in such a way so as to test a candidate’s aptitude in terms of comprehension, reasoning and analytical ability.
# The question paper will be available in both languages – Hindi and English. Candidates have the option of switching between languages at any time during the exam.
# The exam will have different types of questions. While some may have negative marking, others won’t. Candidates can take advantage of this and attempt all those questions which don’t have any negative marking.
The JEE Advanced 2021 is going to be held tomorrow, through the computer-based format.
