Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, has released the JEE Advanced 2021 registrations for Foreign Nationals (FN) online. Registrations for the Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2021 has started online on the official website jeeadv.ac.in from September 06, 2022. Besides, the Unique Reference Code (URC) has also been made available for candidates eligible for JEE Advanced 2021 under Special Eligibility.
The Joint Entrance Exam (Advanced) is an entrance test for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology in India. Candidates who have a rank among the top 25000 rankers of JEE Main 2021 are automatically eligible to appear in the JEE Advanced 2021 exam. Besides, Foreign Nationals i.e. those who are not citizens of India or are OCI/PIO cardholders are also eligible to appear in the JEE Advanced 2021 exam.
This year, the conducting body has made special provisions to allow candidates who registered for the JEE Advanced exam earlier in 2020 but could not give the exam of either paper to appear in the exam this year. This one-time measure is being provided under Special Eligibility provided that candidates have the login details from the previous year registrations.
Candidates may note that the last date to register for the JEE Advanced 2021 is September 16, 2021, up to 05.00 PM. While the registrations for Foreign Nationals have started already, the registrations for Indian candidates is scheduled to start on September 11, 2021. The last date of fee payment by candidates who have successfully completed up to step 2 of the registration process is September 17, 2021, up to 05.00 PM. As per the official website, the JEE Advanced 2021 exam is scheduled to be held on October 03, 2021, in two consecutive shifts.
The complete details and guidelines for JEE Advanced 2021 registrations for Foreign Nationals are available online on the official website jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates are advised to read the information brochure carefully and ensure that they fulfil the complete terms and conditions before applying. Foreign Nationals belonging to SAARC countries have to pay a registration fee of USD 75 or equivalent in INR. Those who belong to non-SAARC countries have to pay a registration fee of Rs USD 150 or equivalent in INR.
Past year candidates who are intending to appear in the JEE Advanced 2021 under Special Eligibility are also advised to go through the official information brochure available online. These candidates have to get the Unique Reference Code by clicking on the link provided on the official website for JEE Advanced 2020 candidates. Candidates have to enter their previous year JEE Advanced 2021 Application Number/Login ID, Roll Number/Registration Number and Date of Birth correctly in order to get the Unique Reference Code.
