The organizing institute IIT Kharagpur has released the answer keys for the Joint Entrance Examination or JEE (Advanced) 2021 examination. The test was held on October 03, 2021 while the provisional answer keys have been released today, i.e. October 10, 2021 at 10:00 AM. The facility to challenge the keys has also started, and will remain available until tomorrow, October 11, 2021, 5 pm.
Candidates who have appeared for the examination can now check and download the provisional answer keys from the official website – jeeadv.ac.in. JEE Advanced is held every year to admit students to the various IITs in the country.

The provisional answer keys for all the subjects is tentative and subject to change. If candidates want to share any feedback regarding these answer keys, then they can do so using the candidate portal. To submit a feedback, visit the official website – jeeadv.ac.in and click on the ‘Candidate Portal’ link beside the tentative answer keys under the ‘Notice to candidates’ tab. In the new page that opens, enter the required login credentials like JEE (Advanced) registration number, date of birth and mobile number. Click the ‘Login’ button and follow the next steps to submit one’s feedback.
Both papers I and II of JEE (Advanced) 2021 have three sections namely 1, 2 and 3. Section 1 has 06 questions in which every correct answer will be given 03 marks while for every incorrect answer 01 mark will be deducted. Section 2 also has 06 questions in which 04 marks will be given to the correct answer. However, 03 marks will be given in case all the 4 options are correct but only 3 options are selected. Similarly, 2 marks will be awarded if 3 or more options are correct but only 2 options are selected and both of them are correct. Lastly, 01 mark will be awarded if 2 or more options are correct but only one option is selected and it is correct. A negative marking of –02 marks will be followed in all other cases.
Coming to Section 3, there will be 06 questions in which the every correct answer will be awarded 04 marks. On the other hand, 0 marks will be given in other cases. Using this marking scheme, candidates can calculate a tentative score in the JEE (Advanced) 2021 exam.
As mentioned already, the JEE Advanced 2021 official answer keys are provisional. To download the same, take a look at the following steps.
Step 1- Visit the official JEE Advanced website – jeeadv.ac.in
Step 2- Press the ‘Click Here’ button beside the tentative answer keys under the ‘Notice to candidates’ tab
Step 3- A new page will open where both the JEE (Advanced) question papers and answer keys will be available to download
Step 4- Click on the required subject from Paper I and II to get the provisional answer key
Step 5- The PDF version of the answer key will be displayed. Download the same and crosscheck the answers.
