The results of the JEE Advanced 2019 Examination have been declared on June 14 at 10 am by the Indian Institute of Technology. The exam was held on May 27, 2019. With 1.73 lakh students appearing for the examination this year, the number has increased relatively from last year. The official website where the candidates can check their result is jeeadv.ac.in. Along with examination scores, All India Ranking (AIR) of JEE Advance Result 2019 has been also declared by IIT, Roorkee.
To check the JEE Advanced 2019 Result open the link to the official website and select the link for JEE Advanced Result 2019. After that fill, all the information asked like registration number, date of birth, mobile number, etc and submit it. The result will now appear on the screen which can be downloaded and printed.
The online portal will avail category-wise All India Ranking (AIR) of successful candidates. Also, text messages will be sent to the candidates on their registered numbers. Rank cards will not be sent to candidates individually. The number of seats available during various rounds of seat allocation will be the determining factor for admission.
The minimum percentage needed per subject is 10.0 and the minimum percentage of aggregate marks is 35.0 for the UR category candidates to qualify for the JEE Advanced 2019 merit list. Once the result is declared, qualified candidates can register for the counselling process of JoSAA where the process of course and seat selection will take place. The allocation of seats will depend on the merit rank, candidate’s choice and availability of seats in an institute.
Pranav Goyal from Roorkee managed to secure the AIR 1 in the JEE Advanced Exam with 337 marks last year while Sahil Jain secured the second position. Meenal Parekh from Delhi was the topper among girls and managed to rank 6th overall.
JEE Advanced is one of the two phases of the Joint Entrance Examination for admission into the engineering programs in the Indian Institute of Technology. The first phase being JEE-Main. The candidates who qualify the cutoff marks for JEE Advanced are allowed to appear for the JEE Advanced exam.
