National Law University (NLU), Odisha will declare the CLAT 2019 result today after 6:30 PM. The candidates can check the result at clatconsortiumofnlu.ac.in. The Common Law Admission Test was held on May 26, 2019. The candidates can check the result in the form of a scorecard.
To check the result of CLAT 2019, the candidates have to enter their mobile number and password. Thereafter the can access their CALT 2019 Scorecard. The candidate has to check the same and download the scorecard for the further admission process.
Via the scorecard of CLAT 2019, the candidates are informed about their marks in CLAT 2019 and their All India Category Rank. To calculate the marks in the exam, the marking scheme of the exam is used. The marking scheme of CLAT 2019 is +1 for the correct answer and -0.25 marks for any wrong answers.
The Consortium of National Law Universities has 22 NLUs of the nation. The admission is all these 22 NLUs and may other renown law colleges of the nation is done on the basis of the CLAT scores. There are 52 private law colleges that accept the CLAT score. The candidates have to apply for admission in their desired college with the CLAT 2019 score for admission.
However, for admission in any one of the 22 NLUs the candidates have to participate in the centralized counselling process. The counselling will be done online. After the result, the candidates whose name will appear in the CLAT 2019 Merit List will be issued the call letters to attend the CLAT Counselling 2019.
Only those candidates who qualify the cutoff marks of CLAT are called for the counselling rounds. Mostly the cutoff marks go highest for NLSIU Bangalore. Last years the cutoff marks for NLSIU Bangalore was 135.5 marks.
The counselling process will include online registration, making the choice of NLU, allotment of seats in NLUs and payment of CLAT Counselling fee, upgrading of seats and then reporting at the allotted NLUs for the document verifications. It is expected that the CLAT 2019 first list for counselling will be out on the second week of June 2019.
CLAT is a national level entrance exam held in offline mode for admission in LLB, BBA LLB, and LLM programs.
