The JEE Advanced 2019 exam ended today at 12 Noon for paper 1. As per the initial reaction of the candidates, the exam was not easy and the difficulty level of the exam was quite high. Physics was the toughest section. Mathematics and Chemistry were moderately tough. Timings for shift 2 of the exam is 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
As per the candidates after the exam, the question was asked form all the chapters of Physics and from both the classes 11 and 12. Many said in Mathematics there were no questions asked from algebra and coordinate geometry.
In Chemistry, a few questions were asked on organic chemistry as compared to inorganic and physical chemistry. Like every year this year too, the question paper had a mix of question where there were one correct option to a question and more than 1 correct option to a question. There were match the following type questions and there was negative marking in the exam.
This year only 2.45 lakh students qualified for the JEE Advanced. Out of the qualified candidates, only 1.73 lakh had registered to appear for the exam.
JEE Advanced 2019 Answer Keys and Questions are made available by the coaching centers after the exam like Resonance, Allen Kota, Aakash, FIIT JEE etc. However, IIT Roorkee will issue the answer key and question paper of the exam on June 04, 2019. The Optical Response Sheets (ORS) of the candidates will be also uploaded under the candidate’s login. The ORS is also mailed to the candidates in their registered email ids.
The official answer key of JEE Advanced 2019 is also available for challenge. The candidates have to submit the challenges before the deadline with a valid proof of the claims. As per last year, a sum of Rs. 500/- was charged per challenge from the candidates.
The JEE Advanced 2019 Result will be declared on June 14, 2019. the result is declared under the candidates’ login and the candidates have to check the same using their application number and password. as per the result, the candidates will be offered admission in the IITs of the nation.
JEE Advanced is for the candidates who qualify the JEE Main exam and cross the cutoff marks for JEE Advanced exam. This year, 2,45,000 candidates have qualified to apply for JEE Advanced exam. JEE Advanced has 2 papers, Paper 1 and paper 2. The exam is held in the CBT mode. The subjects asked in the exam are Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
