JAM 2019 Admit Card Delayed; Download it on 8 Jan at jam.iitkgp.ac.in

JAM 2019 Admit Card Delayed

The Indian Institute Of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur has delayed the issuance of Joint Admission Test (JAM) 2019. It was supposed to be out today but now it has been delayed and will be available for download on January 08, 2019.

The reason for the delay in the release of JAM 2019 admit card has been stated that it is taking some time for the official authorities for updating and preparing their website so that candidates do not face any kind of glitch while downloading the Admit Card.

To check the revised date for JAM 2019 Admit card visit the official website of GATE. Then on the homepage of the website, on the left side of the page, click on the link for “Important Dates”. In the next screen, in the third row, you will see the revised schedule for issuance of JAM Admit Card.

To download the JAM 2019 admit card candidates will have to visit the official website joaps.iitkgp.ac.in. On the JOAPS login page enter your enrollment number and registered password, click on to submit the login credentials. The JAM 2019 admit card will be available on the screen. Download the admit card and take a printout of the same to be carried to the examination center.

On the day of the test, you must carry the print out of the JAM 2019 Admit Card and a valid Id proof. The acceptable id proofs are Aadhaar ID, College ID, Driving License, Employee ID, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID.

The admit card for JAM 2019 will consist of details such as Name of candidate, Registration number, Photograph, Signature, Name, and code of test paper, Name and address of JAM 2019 exam center.

The candidates must carry the print out of the JAM 2019 Admit card on the day of the test along with the other necessary documents. JAM 2019 is a national level entrance examination which is scheduled to be held on February 10, 2019. It is going to be held in two shifts – First shift is from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and the second shift is from 02:30 PM – 5:30 PM. The first shift is for test papers, Biological Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, and the second shift is being held for Biotechnology, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematical Statistics.

The entrance exam is held for admission in MSc, Joint MSc-PhD, MSc-PhD dual degree at IITs and Integrated PhD at IISC.  NITs and other government colleges also use JAM 2019 entrance exam scores for M.Sc admission.
