The Indian Institute Of Technology Madras is releasing the GATE 2019 Admit Card on January 04, 2019, around 4 PM. Candidates have to keep visiting the GATE 2019 Official Website, gate.iitm.ac.in for regular updates.
The admit card will be available in the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) portal. To download the admit card, candidates will need their GATE enrollment number/email ID and password.

On entering the correct login details over the GOAPS portal, the admit card will appear on the screen. The admit card must be saved in the device and the candidates have to take clear print out of the same to be carried at the exam centers.
IIT, Madras is conducting the GATE 2019 exam on February. 02, 03, 09 and 10, 2019. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) will be conducted in 2 shifts over a period of 4 days. GATE will There are 2 papers that will be held in multi-session. These papers are Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. Other 22 papers will be in single session only. There are a total of 24 papers in GATE 2019. Statistics is the new subject paper that has been added to GATE this year.
GATE is a national level entrance exam that is conducted jointly by IISC, Bangalore and the 7 IITs – IIT, Madras; IIT, Kharagpur; IIT, Delhi; IIT, Roorkee; IIT, Bombay; IIT, Delhi; and IIT, Kanpur.
Qualifying GATE will lead to admission in Post Graduate Programmes in the IITs. Many PSUs also accept the GATE scores for their recruitment. To appear in the exam the admit card is to be downloaded for the official website. The admit card will not be sent via post or email to any candidate.
Candidates have to appear at their respective exam centers 1 hour before the exam start time. Along with the admit card, the candidates have to carry a valid photo ID proof like Passport, PAN card, Voter ID, Aadhaar-UID, College ID, Employee Id or Driving license that are issued by a competent authority.
For the international candidates, the ID proof that will be valid are a valid Passport/Government issued ID/College ID/Employee ID.
Note that the admit card will be considered valid only if the photo and signature of the candidate in the printed copy is clear. Thus while taking the print of the GATE 2019 Admit Card it is to be ensured that the print is not blurry and is clearly visible.
