The ISC (Indian School Certificate) exams for Class 12th began on 22nd November. The Home Science paper will be conducted on the 4th of December. 2021 and the candidates appearing for the same should be fully prepared for it by now. The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) has uploaded a specimen paper for students to go through. This will give the students a good idea about what to expect tomorrow in the examination hall.
ISC releases specimen papers for all its exams in order to make the students more comfortable with the actual exam. It is very helpful to candidates to navigate an exam they have not experienced and also prepares them better.

The paper is divided into two sections. Part 1 consists of 10 questions each of 2 marks and all are to be compulsorily attempted by the candidate. Part 2 consists of 50 marks in total and students have to attempt five out of the total seven questions asked in the paper. The candidate has to solve the paper for a duration of 3 hours.

The mark sheet reflects a total of 100 marks and the remaining 30 are given on the basis of a practical examination conducted by the board. The students should also download the syllabus for the paper to get a clearer idea of the scope of the examinations.

Keeping in mind the COVID restrictions, the ISC examinations are being conducted in two phases. The first semester is going on currently and is supposed to end on 20th December. 2021. The result date for the same has not been announced yet but is expected in January or February. The second-semester examinations are to be conducted in March/April and the important dates will be posted on the CISCE official website timely.
