The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has successfully conducted the ISC class 12 History examination today, i.e. May 11, 2022. Students appeared for the exam for a duration of one hour and thirty minutes. As such, the exam started at 2:00 PM and ended at 3:30 PM. Every student was given a duration of 10 minutes for reading the question paper. However, soon after the conclusion of the exam, students seem to be in search of the answer keys. Note that the official answer keys are not yet available but the unofficial ones are expected to come up soon.
Where to get?
Soon after the conclusion of the exam, various teachers and coaching centres will be releasing the answer keys in the form of question paper discussions. These answer keys will be available as videos and can be accessed from online video sharing platforms like YouTube. Channels such as Shoaib Alam, Adda 247, Goyal Brothers Prakashan, etc.
However, after going through the answer keys, one should compare the answers with their own. This will help in calculating a tentative score for the exam. For some reference, the direct links to the answer keys have been given below.

ISC Sem 2 History: An Overview
The ISC History 2022 exam was held for a total of 40 marks. The questions were asked from five units. These units covered the following:
- World War II
- De-colonisation – in Asia (China)
- Cold War 1945-91 – origin, course, end and impact
- Protest movements
- Middle East: Israeli-Palestine conflict (1916-1993)
It must be noted that the entire question paper was divided into three sections namely A, B and C. The first section or Section A comprised questions for 8 marks while Section B had questions for a total of 12 marks. Similarly, the last section or Section C covered questions for a total of 40 marks.
Keeping in mind the Covid-19 pandemic, students had to be seated in the examination halls well before time. The ISC sem 2 History question paper was distributed at 1:50 PM. Face masks and hand sanitisers have been made compulsory for the students. Moreover, the admit cards contain all necessary instructions that are to be followed in the exam halls.
