Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) successfully concluded the class 12 Home Science exam today and the answer key for the same has been released on various platforms by several educators. According to the new assessment pattern provided by CISCE, the Semester 1 examination was conducted offline and the question papers were of objective type. The exam conducted today was completely based on the 50% syllabus bifurcation and also was inlined with the sample paper provided on the CISCE website. Inlined with the sample paper and the new exam pattern, the question paper was of the objective type. The paper asked 8 questions totaling 70 marks. Each question was categorized into a set of internal questions that needed to be separately answered. The answers were to be marked in the question paper cum answer booklet provided. In addition to the 90 minutes time allotted for the examination, extra 10 minutes were given to students to read the questions. The question paper was completely based on 50% syllabus prescribed by CISCE; the bifurcated syllabus provided for the semester 1 exam consists of four units mentioned below:
