The Financial Times has published Global MBA Rankings 2021 indicating the top business schools in the world. The global ranking available at the website of Financial Times i.e. rankings.ft.com indicates the top 100 business schools from all over the world. It is worth mentioning that five of the best business schools in India also features in the FT Global Rankings 2021. These are the Indian School of Business, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Indore.
Financial Times has provided a list of the top-ranking Global Business Schools which includes the Indian School of Business and five other Indian Institutes of Management. In terms of the Indian business schools listed, the Indian School of Business ranks at the highest position at number 23. Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore is the next highest-ranking business school in India holding the global position at number 35. The Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta closely follows behind holding the global position at rank 44. It is worth notable that these three business schools of India are not only ranked globally, but among the top 50 global business schools.
Following the IIM, Calcutta, the next highest ranked Indian business school is the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. It is globally ranked at the 48th position in FT Global MBA Rankings 2021. This means that the IIM Ahmedabad is also ranked among the top 50 business schools in the world. Indian Institute of Management, Indore is globally ranked at the position 94 in the FT Global MBA Rankings 2021.
This time, the top three global rankings are held by Insead in France/Singapore, London School of Business in the UK and University of Chicago (Booth) in the US respectively. Insead exhibits the highest weighted salary of $188,432. Following closely is the London School of Business which exhibits a weighted salary of $177,234. The University of Chicago (Booth), exhibits a weighted salary of $200,287 at the third position.
In terms of the weighted salary, the listed Indian B-Schools also pose serious competition. IIM Ahmedabad follows the third-ranking University of Chicago (Booth) closely by exhibiting a weighted salary of $192,390. The Indian School of Business exhibits a weighted salary of $161,349. IIM Bangalore exhibits a weighted salary of $171,903 while IIM Calcutta exhibits a weighted salary of $164,045. IIM Indore exhibits a weighted salary of $155,823.
FT Global Rankings also indicated the percentage increase in salary statistics for all the 100 top-ranked global business schools. In this context, the Indian School of Business exhibits a salary increase of 173%. IIM Bangalore on the other hand exhibits a 127% salary increase while IIM Calcutta exhibits a 129% salary increase. IIM Ahmedabad exhibits a two-figure salary increase rate at 87% while IIM Indore exhibits a salary increase of 69%.
