Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has released the admit card for the written exam that is going to be held for apprentice engagement in pipeline divisions. The corporation has published a notification with the direct link of call letter download, instructions for the exam, and region wise list of candidates shortlisted for the apprentices written test.
The written test will be held on December 8, 2019. Admit card can be downloaded only until 8 AM of the exam day. It is mandatory to bring a printout of the document to exam hall on the day of the test.
IOCL has provided the facility to download admit card at the direct link plis.indianoilpipelines.in/PLApprentice/user/main.aspx?adv_no=NQ==&Digest=TaN18FuuNzi/n+h8197DOg. On that page, candidates need to login with their registration number and password and download their call letters.
Otherwise, one can first go to iocl.com and go to the careers page, link for which is under the heading IndianOil for Careers. There, click Apprenticeships link under IndianOil for Careers. On this page, under the heading “list of candidates shortlisted for apprentices written Exam in PL division on 08.12.2019”, are the pdf file links for notice, and shortlisted candidates list.
Facility to reset password has also been provided on the same page where admit card download login exists. Those who have forgotten password need to click the forgot password link, enter their registration number, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, and carry out the instructions that appear on the screen.
In the first file, that is that of the notice, direct link to download admit card has been provided. It may be noted this admit card is for the posts advertised in notification no. PL/HR/ESTB/APPR-2019(2).
It says, “With reference to our above referred notification published in IOCL website iocl.com and at https://plis.indianoilpipelines.in for engagement of Apprentices in Pipelines Division of Indian Oil Corporation Limited, list of candidates who have been found eligible and shortlisted to be appeared for written test, is available along with this notice. Candidates can check their names in the respective regions list in which they have applied”.
The corporation has opened up channels of communication with candidates. Region wise, email ids have been provided as [email protected] for Northern Region Pipelines, [email protected] for Eastern Region Pipelines, [email protected] for Western Region Pipelines, [email protected] for Southern Region Pipelines, and [email protected] for South Eastern Region Pipelines.
The corporation has said that candidates must go through the instructions given in the admit card before appearing in the test.
IOCL apprentice recruitment 2019 for pipelines division was published vide advertisement number PL/HR/ESTB/APPR-2019(2). Applications were accepted from November 4 to 22, 2019. After the exam, list of candidates for document verification will be released at iocl.com. Such candidates shall then have to attend the same with prescribed list of certificates.
