INI CET 2021 Not Postponed Yet; Important Notice Releases on Application Status

Candidates can check their INI CET 2021 application status on the official website aiimsexams.ac.in and make the required changes on or before April 23, 2021.

INI CET 2021 Admit Card

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) issued a public notice on April 19, 2021, regarding the status of an application for the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET) 2021. According to the notice, authorities have uploaded the INI CET 2021 application status on the official portal aiimsexams.ac.in. Candidates can access their status of the application by logging in to the website and accessing the “My Page” section. Furthermore, they are required to make the appropriate changes on or before April 23, 2021.

The notice further stated that certain candidates have completed their registration and filling-up of general information. However, they were unable to generate the Exam Unique Code (EUC) or complete the application form by April 12, 2021. Such candidates are permitted to complete their INI CET 2021 application form from April 19 to 22, 2021, by 5:00 pm. Only after the competition of form, these candidates will be permitted to appear for the exam scheduled on May 08, 2021.

AIIMS further clarified that the eligibility criteria and the validity of uploaded certificates shall remain the same as cited before. The closing date for this shall be considered as April 12, 2021. The uploaded certificates must be issued between April 11, 2020, and April 12, 2021. Any further updates regarding the examination shall be notified on the official website aiimsexams.ac.in.

Recently, the National Board of Education (NBE) announced the postponement of the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) PG 2021. The postponement was announced through a public notice issued on April 15, 2021, on the official website natboard.edu.in. The decision was taken in view of the COVID-19 pandemic and the rising number of cases in India.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) stated that the health and well-being of candidates are of paramount importance. Hence, NEET PG 2021 which was previous scheduled for April 18, 2021, has been postponed. The new examination date shall be announced after reviewing the pandemic situation on a later date.

After the postponement of NEET PG 2021, speculation arose among aspirants about the postponement of INI CET 2021. However, the notice issued by AIIMS yesterday indirectly indicates that the exam shall most likely be conducted on the scheduled date i.e., May 08, 2021. No official announcement has been made addressing the postponement speculations.

INI CET 2021 shall be conducted through the computer-based format in allotted centres across the country. Admit cards for the same shall be released on April 30, 2021, on the official website. According to the information bulletin, the exam shall be 180 minutes duration and shall comprise of 200 objective-type questions. In case the exam gets conducted as per the existing schedule, results for the same shall likely be released on May 15, 2021.
