Indian Navy MR admit card 2019 for April 2020 course exam download starts today at joinindiannavy.gov.in. Yesterday, the Indian Navy sent an sms to candidates that said, “Admit card link for MR 2020 batch will be available on your dashboard from 12 Sep’19. Please download the Admit Card. – Join Indian Navy”.
The Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) for matric recruit is scheduled to be held from September 16 to September 21. It will be a computer based exam with 50 multiple choice questions of 1 mark each. There will be two sections in the paper – science and mathematics, general knowledge. The former will be on class 10th syllabus and sample papers available on the website. The exam will be of half an hour. There will be negative marking to the tune of 0.25 mark per incorrect answer.
To download the Indian Navy MR admit card, candidates need to visit joinindiannavy.gov.in and click on the login link in the top menu. Then login with email address and password. What appears next is the candidate dashboard, that was mentioned in sms. Here is supposed to be the “click here to download admit card” link. After that, candidates reach the admit card login page where they have to login with application number and date of birth, which ultimately leads to download of the pdf copy of the admit card.
The admit card consists of following information – application number, roll number, seat identification number, barcode, candidate name, date of birth, father’s name / mother’s name, address, government ID type, government ID, online examination centre address, photo, signature, exam date, shift, reporting time, last candidate entry time, exam start time, instructions.
Indian Navy had already announced the date of release of Indian Navy MR admit card 2019 for course commencing in April 2020 a few days ago. Although the exact time at which admit card download commences was not notified beforehand, the defence force sticks to the schedule for all its exams and makes the download link available in candidate dashboard shortly after the midnight hour.
Candidates may come across “this page is not allowed to access your mobile phone” error when trying to download the admit card. This error message shows only when you try to download from a mobile phone. In this situation, first of all, use Chrome browser in phone. Then click on the settings button (three dots on top-right) in your browser and click the desktop site option. Now your browser will act as desktop site, and you will be able to smoothly download the admit card.
Another common hiccup that candidates face in the process is having forgotten password. Candidates who have forgotten their password can click on the forgot password link on the login page, and retrieve or reset it by entering their email address.
Indian Navy MR 2020 recruitment is for 400 vacancies of chef, steward, and hygienist. Candidates were invited to apply from July 26 to August 1. The posts are open for class 10 pass candidates. Recruitment is on the basis of computer based exam, physical fitness test, and medical exam. The Indian Navy will declare the exam result one month after the exam. Around 1600 candidates will be called for PFT and preliminary recruitment medical exam. Physical fitness test will consist of a 1.6 Km run to be done in 7 minutes, then 20 squat ups, and 10 push ups.
