As per a notification doing the rounds on social media, Indian Army has released the TES 46 notification. It says that the application process for Technical Entry Scheme will commence from October 07, 2021 on the official website, joinindianarmy.nic.in. Interested and eligible candidates will get a chance to apply by November 08, 2021. The selection exam is going to be held for around 90 vacancies.
Indian Army 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme is one of the few gateways of joining the elite forces after class 12th. The TES selection process happens twice a last year, the last one being the TES 45.
The official website of Join Indian Army is joinindianarmy.nic.in. The TES notifications are published at joinindianarmy.nic.in/officers-notifications.htm. At the time of publishing this story, the TES 46 notification was not published on the official website.
Is the TES 46 2021 notification out?
A notification is being shared by defence job aspirants on social media which claims to be Indian Army 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme 46 notification. Shortly after a few social media groups shared it, some govt job sharing private websites too published the same. However it is not sure whether the notice is real or fake, yet.
In order to join Indian Army via TES, candidates should be a citizen of India. The age limit for the eligible candidates is 16 1/2 to 19 1/2 years. Along with this, the candidates must have passed JEE Main 2021 and scored 60% marks in the class 12th exam with PCM as major subjects.
The final selection of the eligible candidates for the TES 46 is going to be on the basis of the marks scored in the interview round followed by a screening round. The screening round will have five sub rounds i.e. screening round, psychological test, GTO, personal interview, and conference. The candidate’s performance in the physcial efficiency test, screening round and medical examination will assure their final selection.
After the successful appointment, the candidates will be inducted into a one-year training programme conducted at Officer’s Training Academy, Gaya. This will be followed by 3 years of training conducted at CME Pune followed by a one-year training programme. Upon successful completion of the final exam, the candidates will be awarded an Engineering degree.
The candidates will join the Indian Army in the rank of Lieutenant upon completion of the 5-year training programme. The candidates will be eligible to receive payment as per Level 10, INR 56,100 – 1,77,500.
