Army Recruitment Office (Headquarters) Jaipur is going to conduct Soldier recruitment rally for 8th, 10th and 12th pass candidates

ARO, Jaipur is all set to conduct a recruitment rally for the recruitment of eligible candidates of the districts of Jaipur, Sikar & Tonk. Eligible candidates are to be recruited into the posts of Soldier (GD, Tech, CLK/SKT, and TDN). The rally is to be held on and from August 24, 2020, to March 31, 2021. Indian Army is to confirm the exact dates, location and rally venue as per COVID-19 situations in later stags. Eligible candidates have to apply online between June 30 to August 14, 2020. The actual date, time, and place of the rally is to be intimated through the admit cards issued to eligible applicants. Candidates are advised to go to the website joinindianarmy.nic.in to apply for the recruitment.

The rally is to be conducted for candidates of Jaipur, Sikar & Tonk districts. The openings are for the post of Soldier (General Duty, Technical, Clerk/Store Keeper/Inventory Management), Soldier Tdn (Steward, Chefs, Artisan, Washerman, Dresser, Tailor, Support Staff) & Soldier Tdn 8th Pass (House Keeper & Mess Keeper). All candidates must be at least 17.5 years old and not more than 23 years old except for the post of Soldier (GD). Candidates applying for Soldier (GD) must not be more than 21 years old. Additionally, post wise minimum physical standards are also indicated in the detailed notice. Candidates have to be at least Class 10th pass in order to apply. However, for the posts of Soldier (Technical) and Soldier (Clerk/Store Keeper/Inventory Management), one must have passed 10+2. 8th pass candidates can apply for the post of Soldier Tdn 8th pass.

Initially, eligible candidates will be shortlisted through the rally. Admit cards for the rally are published through the specified Indian army website. Candidates must print the admit card and carry the same to the rally site. The date and time of the rally are indicated in the admit card. At the rally site, candidates will be selected based on their physical fitness tests. The PFT includes 1.6 km run, Pull-ups, 9 feet ditch, and Zig Zag ditch. Candidates are also measured for their physical standards as mentioned against each post. Following these, shortlisted candidates are tested for medical fitness and unfit candidates are referred to MH/CH/BH for specialist review. Finally, fit candidates are issued admit cards for the Common Entrance Examination. The date and time of the written CCE are intimated at the rally site to medically fit candidates and admit cards are issued. The result of the written exam is published at the website joinindianarmy.nic.in following which, shortlisted candidates must report to the ARO for documentation and appointment.

Eligible and aspiring candidates are advised to apply online without delay at the army website. The recruitment rally is to be conducted over a period of three to four days. Therefore, they must make provisions for food and accommodation. Until candidates are issued the Rahadari certificate and dispatched for training, their appointment is not considered as confirmed.
