As a friendly suggestion to the students who are eagerly waiting to appear for the GATE 2019 examination at their respective exam centers, the officials have enlightened the candidates about the traffic conditions which could cause a delay in reaching the exam centers on February 02 and 03, 2019.
Keeping in mind the heavy congestion of the Kumbh Mela and also the Prime Minister’s rally near Samba/ Jammu, candidates have been suggested to reach the exam center at least 2 hours before the examination.
Speaking of the exam centers, the official website had previously informed the candidates about the change of a certain exam centre. PIXN Technology Pvt Ltd, Burdwan was replaced with University Institute of Technology, The University of Burdwan, Golapbag (North), G.T. Road Burdwan, West Bengal. The students who had chosen the former will now appear at the later. Information in regard to the change of exam center was uploaded and is available on the official website.
As the GATE 2019 Exam is at the door, it is important that candidates keep checking if they have kept their documents safe. For example, students must make sure that they have downloaded and kept their GATE 2019 Admit Card, a more than crucial document, highly important to appear for the entrance examination.

The official website had made available the admit card from January 04, 2019. But just in case you have missed it or were planning to download it later, download it today! To get the admit card, students need to visit the official website and on the homepage itself, the students are given the direct link to download the admit card.
The students will be taken to the login page where they have to submit their Enrollment ID / Email Address and Password. Next, students have to solve the math problem and click on submit. Candidates who are going to download the admit card or already have downloaded theirs should make sure that they have at least 2-3 copies of the same.
How Many Test Papers for GATE 2019?
Until last year, there were 23 test papers available for the students. However, with the addition of the “Statistics” test paper, the number has increased to 24. Candidates had to select one test paper out of the 24 test papers as per their field of choice.
The GATE 2019 exam is a National Level Entrance exam for admission to the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT’s) for the Post Graduate courses. The exam is going to be conducted on February 02, 03, 09 and 10 February 2019. Public sector Undertakings (PSUs) will also conduct recruitment on the basis of the GATE 2019 scores. Each year one out of the seven IIT’s conduct the exam on a rotational basis.
