Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT-KGP) has released the JAM 2019 scorecard online on April 02, 2019. The link for downloading the JAM 2019 Scorecard is active till July 31, 2019. The scorecard for JAM 2019 has been released online at JOAPS. The result for JAM 2019 was declared on March 18, 2019.
To download the JAM 2019 Scorecard, the candidates need to visit the official website of JAM 2019 at jam.iitkgp.ac.in. On the homepage of the website, the candidates need to click on the JOAPS link. In the next screen, the candidates need to enter their Enrolment ID / Email ID and Password. Click on the “Submit” button and then in the next screen, the candidates can download and take a print out of the scorecard.
Only the candidates who have qualified the entrance exam can download their Admit Card. The scorecard for JAM 2019 consist of details like name of the candidate, registration number, test paper code, number of candidates who appeared for the respective subject, marks obtained, All India Rank, qualifying marks in the respective subject paper.
The candidates should note that no hardcopy of JAM 2019 scorecard will be sent to the JAM 2019 qualified candidates by the Organizing Institute. It can only be downloaded from JAM 2019 website within a specified period.
Those who have qualified in JAM 2019, the candidates can apply for admission to programs in which they are eligible at IITs and IISc. The application form for admission will be available from April 11, 2019, and the last date to submit the application form for admission is April 24, 2019.
To apply for admission to various programs, the qualified candidates have to submit the Admission Form online at the JAM Online Application Processing System website at joaps.iitkgp.ac.in. The candidates have to fill and submit the admission form by online mode only. There is no need to send the hard copy of the admission form/ documents by post/ courier.
After the candidates have successfully applied for admission, they will be able to make the offer on the basis of the order of merit in the entrance exam and availability of seats. The candidates will be considered for admission only if they satisfy the eligibility requirements and minimum educational requirements of the programme.
The Eligibility Requirements for admission at IITs and IISc is that all the candidates admitted through JAM should have a Bachelor’s degree. Furthermore, in the qualifying degree, the aggregate marks or CGPA/CPI without rounding-off should be at least 55% or 5.5 out of 10 for General/OBC (NCL) category candidates, and 50% or 5.0 out of 10 for SC/ST and PwD category candidates.
The Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. 2019 (JAM) was conducted by IIT Kharagpur on February 10, 2019. It is a national level entrance exam held for admission in MSc, Joint MSc-PhD, MSc-PhD dual degree at IITs and Integrated PhD at IISC. Furthermore, NITs and other government colleges also use JAM 2019 entrance exam scores for M.Sc admission.
