Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) will issue DAVV CET 2019 dates and details by the end of this week. The University usually issues DAVV CET information brochure by the end of March or beginning of April. Aglasem contacted the University and came to know that DAVV CET 2019 details will be out by the end of 1st week of April 2019.
The University holds DAVV Common Entrance Test for intake of the candidates in UG and PG courses, like B.A. LLB., B.Com, B.A., M.Com, MBA, M.C.A, etc. The exam is held online, in computer based mode. Candidates have to fulfil the eligibility criteria in order to apply and get admission. To appear for the UG courses, the candidates should have passed 10+2, whereas, for PG programs the applicant should have at least done graduation. The University also checks age and course specific criteria. For the current session admission, these shall be disclosed through the information brochure.
Along with the information brochure, DAVV will also release the application form for CET. Both shall be provided online, on the official website which is dauniv.ac.in. To fill the application form of DAVV, the candidates will first have to register by submitting the basic details, such as name, e-mail id, phone number, etc. Once done, the registration id and password will be generated and with the help of it candidates will be able to login and fill the application form.
To submit the application form correctly, it is important to pay the application fee. The amount of fee is Rs. 1500, plus Rs. 50 as additional charges. Candidates can submit the fee amount online, via Credit Card, Debit Card, and Net Banking. Other than this, the candidates might also get the chance to submit the fee via SBI Challan.
Candidates submitting the application form and fee correctly will be issued admit card of the examination. The admit card of DAVV CET 2019 will also be issued online and candidates will need registration number and password to download it. On the exam day, the candidates need to carry DAVV CET 2019 admit card as a print copy. It will also be needed during final admission, hence, candidates should preserve it properly.
DAVV has been conducting Common Entrance Test in online mode, since 2017. Even this year, the exam will be held in computer based mode. The pattern of the exam will differ for Group A, B, C and D. In Group B and C, UG courses are covered and in Group A and D, PG courses are covered. The total number of questions in Group A, B and C is 75. Each question will be of 3 marks and for choosing an incorrect answer, negative marking of 1/3 marks will be applicable.
