Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi is recruiting candidates for the post of Executive Assistant for Institute of Eminence (IoE). Interested candidates can send their application for 39 posts advertised. Aspirants’ age should not exceed the upper age limit of 45 years. The application link is available on the official website from June 30, 2020, onwards. Candidates can submit their online application form on or before the last date which is July 24, 2020, up to 05:00 PM. Detailed notification with the advertisement number E-II/07/2020 (Contractual) is available on the official website of IIT Delhi, iitd.ac.in.
Only those candidates who have a Master’s degree from a recognized university with 55% marks are eligible for the post. Those who have B.Tech degree with minimum 02 years of work experience in Project Management or academic administration can also apply. However, preference is given to those who have an MBA degree from a reputed institute. Interested applicants should also possess excellent IT skills and have knowledge of Data Collection and Data Analysis. Relaxation in upper age limit is provided to the candidates belonging to reserved categories. For SC/ST candidates relaxation of 05 years is given, whereas OBC candidates get the relaxation of 03 years, in upper age limit.
IIT, Delhi conducts an online application procedure for Executive Assistant. Eligible candidates must visit iitd.ac.in/jobs-iitd/index.html to register and submit their application form. The aspirants who are applying against the reserved posts have to attach a self-attested copy of their ‘Caste Certificate’ issued from the competent authority in the prescribed proforma. Applicants have to make sure that they enter every detail carefully as application once submitted can not be edited or resubmitted. Incomplete application forms are rejected.
The selection under the Executive Assistant posts for Institute of Eminence (IoE) is on a contractual basis. Shortlisted candidates have to serve a one year tenure which is extendable up to 05 years. The tenure is extended based on the annual performance evaluation by the concerned Head and IoE office. IIT, Delhi offers Rs.80,000-Rs.90,000/- per month with annual increment only if the tenure is extended. Also, the selected candidates get the two and a half days of leave after the months get complete. These leaves cannot be carry forwarded or encashed at the termination or renewal of the contract.
Aspirants are shortlisted for Executive Assistant based their performance in written test, group discussion and interview. Candidates first have to appear for the written test which is based on Data analysis and Communication Skills. They are called for the written examination as per the educational qualification provided by them in the online application form. Those who are able to acquire 60% marks in the Written Test are invited for the group discussion and personal interview round.
