IIFT 2022 MBA Entrance Exam Held on 5 Dec 2021 Delayed in Few Centers in Ghaziabad

As per candidates, the exam was delayed by as much as 1 hour 45 minutes in at least one center in Ghaziabad, UP.

IIFT 2022 Exam Delayed

National Testing Agency (NTA) has conducted the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) MBA entrance exam 2022 today, on December 5, 2021. While the exam was held from 10 am to 12 noon, as per complaints posted on some social media threads, the MBA entrance exam was delayed in some centers in Ghaziabad.

Candidates claim that the exam was delayed by as much as 1 hour 45 minutes at some of the exam centers in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. One twitter user has specifically mentioned the exam center Adhunik Engineering College, Duhai Bus Stand, Opposite Bank of India, Ghaziabad. As per the twitter user, there, the exam was not started even till 11:45 am, whereas it was supposed to start at 10 am. As per his tweet, the candidates had reached the center on time, and it was in no way the fault of candidates. At the moment, NTA has not provided any official notice of the incident.

Exam delayed in few centers in Ghaziabad

As the exam was being held, some candidates, and their guardians / friends took to telegram, twitter to complain about issues at exam centers.

According to one twitterati, the IIFT exam at center ‘ADHUNIK ENGINEERING COLLEGE DUHAI BUS STAND OPPOSITE BANK OF INDIA GHAZIABAD CENTER CODE – UP0701’ was delayed. According to his tweet timeline, even at 11:55 am, the exam was yet to start.

The claim is supported in a telegram chat group where candidates confirm that the exam was indeed delayed in some centers in Ghaziabad.

As of now, there is no official statement on the matter.

Another twitter user complained about the access to the exam center ‘MD Indraprastha institute for higher education sector 22 Begampur’. He reached out to officials of the Delhi Govt on twitter to bring it to their notice how difficult it was for candidates to get to the exam center given the condition of the infrastructure around the place.

IIFT MBA entrance exam 2022 is the national level entrance exam for MBA admission to IIFT. IIFT has two campuses, one in Delhi and other in Kolkata. The third campus in Kakinada is subject to govt approval.

The exam was supposed to be held in 68 cities all over India. However, it has been put off in 7 cities owing to the cyclone jawad, in the cities Vijaywada, Vishakhapatnam, Bhubaneswar. Sambalpur, Cuttack, Kolkata, Durgapur. The new exam date for these centers will be announced soon.
