The National Testing Agency has successfully conducted the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) 2021-2022 MBA entrance exam today. This examination was held in a computer-based test (CBT) mode from 10 AM to 12 PM. Around 30,000 candidates have appeared for the MBA entrance examination today.
Soon after the conclusion of the exam, coaching institutes and subject experts will come up with the exam analysis and answer keys. One can expect the first cut analysis to be out within 5-10 minutes. Then detailed analysis will be available in 30-40 minutes. The IIFT Answer Key 2022 for exam held on 5 Dec 2021 is expected to be available in 2-3 hours.
These answer keys can be accessed from YouTube. All one has to do is type ‘IIFT 2021-2022 MBA entrance exam answer key’ on the search box and go through the videos that appear thereafter. However, candidates awaiting the official answer keys by NTA must note that they will be released soon on the official website – iift.nta.nic.in. As per the information bulletin, the answer keys will be available for a maximum of three days. Nonetheless, soon after the release of the answer keys, the candidates will be given an opportunity to submit challenges by paying Rs 200 for each question.
IIFT MBA (IB) is a six-semester residential management programme that is offered at the Delhi and Kolkata campuses. Eligible candidates will be able to seek admission based on the CBT, group discussion, writing skills assessment and interview. Candidates who will be shortlisted from today’s CBT are going to be called for the remaining rounds. Please note that all these rounds will take place either March or April, 2022 at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Lucknow.
Through this examination, a total of 258 seats will be filled in the Delhi campus while 253 seats are going to be filled in the Kolkata campus. The Kakinada campus is also likely to begin the admissions soon but that again depends on UGC’s approval. As per sources, the cut-off marks are going to be different for the two campuses. Candidates after meeting the cut-off for the CBT will be eligible for further selection process.
As per reports, the IIFT 2020 cut-off for the general category was 138, OBC NCL – 115.5, SC – 89, ST – 89 and PH – 89. Similarly, in 2018, the category-wise cut-off marks were general – 35.50, OBC – 30.50, ST – 22.69, SC – 20.02 and PH – 23.69. The cut-off marks for IIFT 2021-2022 will depend on a variety of factors such as the difficulty level of the question paper, total number of candidates who have actually appeared for the test and the availability of seats in the various IIFT institutes.
