The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) conducted the IIFT MBA-IB 2019 entrance examination on December 02, 2018. Ever since IIFT entrance exam 2019 has been conducted, the candidates have been eagerly waiting for the result.
There are some unofficial sources which said that the IIFT 2019 Result is going to be announced today, i.e. on January 05, 2019. Since morning, the students have been freaking out and searching for their result. However, this is not true, The result is not going to be announced.
To provide the candidates with the right information, the Aglasem Team called up the IIFT authorities regarding these rumors, to which they said that since the IIFT office is not open today, it is not possible that the result will be out today.
Furthermore, they said that the IIFT Result 2019 shall be announced on January 07, 2019 or after January 10, 2019. It is expected that result shall not get delayed by
IIFT releases the result in two parts that are; first, a PDF is uploaded on the website tedu.iift.ac.in. It has the name of all the shortlisted candidates who have qualified the test. It will be present in list format in the PDF along with their IIFT roll numbers of the
The second part pf the result being the scorecard that is released on the website by IIFT for candidate to check their score. All the candidates who took the examination can check their score from the website. The candidates who have qualified the test are further suggested to take a printout of their score card to use at the time of admission.
The university sets the cutoff for candidates to qualify the test, This cutoff is declared along with the release of the scorecard. The cutoff for each section is determined out of 100 and is provided on the scorecard itself. As per last year scorecard, the cutoff as per category of candidates was: General– 48.5, OBC– 43.5, SC-38.5, ST– 27.17, PH– 28.85.
The candidates who will be qualifying the IIFT 2019 test will further have to go through their selection process that comprises the following. The candidates are first called for a written ability test called WAT, the second round is the GD or group discussion round only after which the candidates will be called for the final round of selection that is face to face interview round.
The candidates qualifying through all the above-mentioned selection criteria will be able to take admission to IIFT. The candidates who will finally be a part of the new session of IIFT will have to submit an programme fee at the start of the academic year.
