Indira Gandhi Knowledge Olympiad (IGKO) Result 2018 is expected to be released by the end of November 2018 by Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF). The answer key of IGKO 2018 is also available. Now the result is expected to be available soon in the month of November for all the classes that participated in this Olympiad i.e. Class 1 to 10.
The result will be available in the online mode and to check the same candidates have to enter their registration number and email id. The school from where the candidates have enrolled IGKO 2018 will also receive the result of IGKO along with detailed Student Performance Report (SPR) and participation certificates for all participating students.
Along with the IGKO Result 2018 candidates will get SPR that will contain a detailed report on students’ performance, including their strong and weak areas. The SPR is aimed at helping the students with judging themselves at various level and thus benefits them
The IGKO 2018 was conducted on September 11, 25, 2018. The result for which contain details like Student name, Class, Roll no., Parent name, School name, Score, International Rank, Zone/ State Rank, and School Rank.
Awards will be given to the meritorious candidates in the form of scholarships and medals. The top 3 rank holders in the SOF IGKO 2018 exam will be awarded gold, silver and bronze medal respectively. Apart from that the SOF will distribute scholarships and awards worth Rs. 16 crores.
If more than one candidates get the same score, they will be awarded the same rank.
At international level, the first rank holder will be awarded with gold medal, Rs.50,000/- each and also certificate of Outstanding Performance. Similarly the second rank holder will get Rs. 25,000/- each, a silver medal and a certificate of performance. Same goes for the third rank holder. They will get a certificate of excellence, a bronze medal and Rs. 10,000/-.
Awards and recognition will be also available at zonal and school level.
The students of the schools that are registered with SOF are only allowed to participate in IGKO. Thereafter the schools held the students with all process like registration of the students, answer key checking and also result checking. This year IGKO was conducted in 2 different days and the schools were allowed to select their preferred day to participate in the exam as per their convenience.
