Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative (IFFCO) invites applications for the post of Agriculture Graduate Trainee (AGT). The AGTs are required in field offices of IFFCO in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Tamil NaduTelangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal.
From 57 cooperatives in 1967, to more than 36,000 today, IFFCO is one of the largest cooperative societies in India that is wholly owned by Indian cooperatives. The society carries out business of manufacturing as well as marketing fertilizers.
IFFCO recruitment 2019 for Agriculture Graduate Trainee (AGT) is open for candidates who have a four year B.Sc Agriculture full time degree. Such interested job seekers who are in their final year of graduation and will get final semester results by September 2019 can also apply.
General and OBC applicants should have obtained 60% marks in each semester, whereas SC and ST candidates need to have obtained 55%. Candidates graduated in 2016 or later can only apply. Age of AGT applicants is required to be at max 30 years as on September 1. The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC, ST, and 3 years for OBC.
B.Sc graduates desirous of joining IFFCO as AGT must know how to read, write, and speak the regional language of the state for which the application is being made. While knowing Hindi is not mandatory, it is desirable.
IFFCO will conduct preliminary computer based test for the purpose of this recruitment. Shortlisted candidates on the basis of said test will be called for a final online test. Then on the basis of final online test, candidates will be called for interview.
Recruitment in IFFCO as agriculture graduate trainee comes with a service bond. General and OBC category candidates need to furnish a service bond of Rs 80,000. SC and ST category candidates need to do so for Rs 20,000.

AGTs will get stipend and other benefits as per the rules of the cooperation. At present, the stipend stands at Rs 33,000 per month. After training, the basic pay will be Rs 37,000 per month in the regular pay scale of Rs 37,000 to Rs 70,000.
