Indo Danish Tool Room (MSME Technology Center), Jamshedpur has advertised 28 vacancies for the engagement of Graduate and Technician Apprentices. Detailed recruitment in this regard is published at the website bopter.gov.in. As per the notification, IDTR is all set to conduct an interview for the selection of eligible candidates for engagement as apprentices. The interview is scheduled to be conducted at IDTR, Jamshedpur on August 24, 2020, from 09.00 AM onward. Candidates who qualify through the selection process are engaged as Graduate or Technician Apprentice for a fixed monthly stipend.
As per the notice, there are 28 vacancies available for the job description of CNC Milling and Turning Operator. Among these, 20 vacancies are in IDTR Jamshedpur and 08 vacancies are in TRTC Patna. Candidates holding a B.E./B. Tech degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Automobile Engineering are eligible to apply. In addition, candidates who have 04 years Diploma in Tool and Die making are also eligible to apply. However, such qualifications must have been acquired from 2017 to 2020 only. In addition, applicants must not have undergone Apprenticeship training before. Candidates who are currently undergoing Apprenticeship Training as per Apprenticeship Act, 1961 are also not eligible to apply.
Selected candidates are to be engaged at the aforementioned posts for a training period of 12 months. During this tenure, Technician apprentices are entitled to receive fixed monthly stipend of Rs 8000 while Graduate Apprentices are entitled to receive fixed monthly stipend of Rs 9000. However, candidates are not entitled to any other allowances, benefits or facilities apart from the fixed monthly stipend as mentioned here. Similarly, there is no obligation on part of the IDTR to guarantee any fixed employment to the candidates after the completion of the training period.
Eligible candidates have to appear at the aforementioned interview for selection and appointment to the aforementioned vacant positions for apprenticeship training. However, one must register online with the Board of Practical Training (BOPT) Eastern Region website before appearing in the selection interview as per schedule. Candidates who fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria and are willing to appear in the interview after registration with BOPT must carry specified documents in original as well as their photocopies. These documents include Certificates of Diploma/Degree, mark sheet of final semester/mark sheet, Certificate of Class X, AADHAR Card, BOPT certificate with Registration number, and 02 copies of recent colored passport-sized photographs.
