Council of Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) has today, May 04, 2022, conducted the Geography exam for ICSE Class 10 students. The paper was held for a duration of 1.5 hours i.e., from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. The exam was held at affiliated schools across the country, through the offline format. Today’s semester 2 paper had both objective and subjective questions, as opposed to semester 1 which only contained MCQs.
Since the ICSE Semester 2 Geography 2022 paper was subjective exam will not have simple, straightforward answers. Instead, answers will be judged on the final answer as well as steps to solve each question.
The central education board (or CISCE) will soon be releasing the ICSE Semester 2 Geography answer key on the official website cicse.org. However, a particular date or time has not been specified. So, in the meantime, students can resort to unofficial answer keys published online by experts. Most of these answer keys have been uploaded in the video-based format, on YouTube. In this format, educator discusses the entire paper and mentions key points in each answer.

ICSE Semester 2 Geography – Paper Analysis
Today’s ICSE Semester 2 Geography paper covered only 50% of the reduced syllabus specified by CISCE. Accordingly, questions were asked from Map of India, Minerals & Energy Resources, Agriculture, Manufacturing Industries, Transport and Waste Management. The paper was held for a maximum of 40 marks with 10 marks allotted to internal assessments.
After the successful conduction of Geography paper, the next ICSE Semester 2 paper is scheduled on Friday, May 06, 2022, for Hindi language. The last paper is scheduled for May 23, for the Commercial Studies (Group II Elective) subject. All papers will be held for a duration of 1.5 hours.
