The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has successfully completed the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Semester 2 English Literature paper today April 26, 2022. The question paper along with the answer key of ICSE Literature in English semester 2 paper will be published on the official website after the conclusion of the examinations. The ICSE semester 2 examinations will conclude on May 23, 2022, as per the official timetable of CISCE. However, various educators have released the unofficial answer key for the ISCE English Literature semester 2 paper on their YouTube channels.
The exam was conducted from 11 AM to 12:30 PM, for a duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes. An additional time of 10 minutes was given to read the question paper.

ICSE Semester 2 English Literature Paper 2 Analysis
The ICSE semester 2 Literature in English paper was conducted for 40 marks with a duration of 90 minutes. The question paper was divided into 4 sections. Section A had 10 multiple choice questions for one mark each. Section B, C, and D had 2 questions each out of which the candidates had to attend to any one question from each section.
The questions in section A were attemptable for students who had a thorough revision of the prescribed syllabus as the questions were from inside the chapters. Section B had parts from 2 dramas in the syllabus which could be written as per the preparation of the students. The prose section, i.e. section C had two passages and the questions were asked based on that. Section D was comparatively easy as the questions were from the poem section. In all of the sections, the questions were in such a way to test the comprehension of the candidates. The examination had a moderate difficulty level.
