ICSE Economics Paper Analysis 2019

In a continuation of the examination process on March 15, 2019 ICSE (class 10th) Economics paper (Group II Elective) held. After the examination, there were mixed reactions of the students recorded. Most of the students find their economics paper a bit easy but at the same time lengthy. As feedback varies with person to person. So, by interviewing the students coming out of the examination hall we received the different feedback about ICSE Economics Paper 2019.

According to some of ICSE, class 10th students, the paper was not so difficult. As compared to the previous year the board has designed the question paper a bit easier. At the same time, the paper was time taking. While on the other hand there were some who finds the paper quite tricky but scoring and easy to solve.

Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has designed the Economics paper student friendly. The questions of the paper were from the syllabus only. There was nothing out of syllabus. At the same time if one analyzed then the pattern of the paper was the same as that of the internal examinations. So, this is a great advantage for the students to score more in the exams.

Let’s listen to some of the students views and knows how they are feeling after the Economics paper. Lovey Malhotra student from Lucknow said that it was the best paper till now. Areeba Siddiqui said that the paper had a balanced composition of difficulty level i.e easy to moderate. At the same time, the teachers also said that the paper of Economics was scoring. After the exam, many of the students are satisfied with the paper and hope for the best result.

For some students, the ICSE economics paper was tricky and bit lengthy. But for the other students, the questions were straight forward nothing was tricky in the paper. So, if we analyze the overall paper then it can be said that ICSE economics paper for the academic year 2018-19 was easy but a bit lengthy.

The duration of the paper was of 2 hours. As per the instructions, 15 minutes were alloted to the students to read the entire question paper. The question paper was distributed to the students at 10:45 am and by 11:00 am the students were instructed to start their paper.
