The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has started the ICSE class 10 examinations from November 29, 2021. The History and Civics examination will be held on December 02, 2021 (Thursday) from 11 AM onwards. With less than two days left for the examination, students now seem to be in search of the MCQ questions that they can practice. For that, various educators and subject experts have released the questions that the candidates can refer to and enhance their preparation.
Notable YouTube channels that can be helpful for the students are Sir Tarun Rupani, AB Education Hub, Study with Sudhir, etc. To get access to the MCQ questions for ICSE class 10 History and Civics from YouTube, here are the steps that one can follow.
Step 1- Open YouTube at youtube.com
Step 2- Type ‘ICSE class 10 History and Civics MCQ questions’
Step 3- Press the search button and tour through the videos that appear thereafter.
Now, before going through these videos and other private sites, it is suggested that students refer to the specimen paper first that is released officially on the site – cisce.org. The examination syllabus for the ICSE class 10 examinations have been reduced this time. Section A (Civics) of History and Civics will cover chapters like The Union Legislature, The Union Executive and The Judiciary. Section B (History) will have The Indian National Movement (1857-1917), Mass Phase of the National Movement (1915-1947) and The Contemporary World. Similarly, the syllabus for History and Civics (Thailand) will have two sections. Section A (Civics) will cover The Legislature, The Union Executive and The Judiciary. Similarly, Section B (History) will have The Period of Reform, The Period of Changes, The Revolt of 1932, Period of Instability (1945-1965), ASEAN (1967) and The Contemporary World. The ICSE semester 1 examinations will have multiple choice questions which the students have to answer in 1 hour. As per sources, the maximum marks for the ICSE subjects is 80 for the semester 1 examinations.
