Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) is going to conduct the ICSE Class 10 Commercial Studies Semester 1 exam on December 01, 2021. The examination will be held for 1 hour, and no extra time shall be provided for reading the question paper. The council has released the specimen papers along with the bifurcated syllabus for the Commercial Studies examination on the official website, cisce.org.

Commercial Studies Syllabus and Specimen Paper
According to the Commercial Studies Semester 1 syllabus released by the CISCE, the questions shall be asked majorly from 6 units. The major chapters that are included are Stakeholders in Commercial Organisations, Banking, Marketing and Sales, Finance and Accounting, Human Resources and Logistics. The important subtopics for each chapter are also mentioned on the official syllabus.
ICSE Class 10 Commercial Studies Specimen paper can also be checked to know the revised question paper structure. In the semester 1 exam, the questions asked shall be in the MCQ pattern. Candidates can expect questions based on fill-in blanks, match the following, the one-word answer instead of a conventional question, and answers in the exam tomorrow. They can also use this specimen paper to practice before the examination to become familiar with the revised structure.

As per the ICSE Specimen paper, 35 questions will be asked accounting for 40 marks. For each question, the council has decided to award 1 mark and there is no provision of negative marking for the wrong answers.

Earlier, the council has decided to conduct two Term exams from this year onwards. Term 1 examination for ICSE exam has commenced on November 29, 2021, and the result for the same is expected to be released on January 2022.
