The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has concluded the Chemistry examination for class 10 today, i.e. December 13, 2021. The exam commenced at 11 AM and was held for 60 minutes. CISCE had previously released the bifurcated syllabus and specimen papers to help the students in their preparation.
As of now, the exam analysis and the answer keys will shortly be released on various online platforms including YouTube, Telegram, etc. The paper was set for a total of 40 marks. Students were given a duration of 10 minutes to read the question paper. A total of 06 complete units were there based on which the questions were asked. These units are Periodic Properties and Variations of Properties, Chemical Bonding, Study of Acids, Bases and Salts, Analytical Chemistry, Mole Concept, and Stoichiometry, and lastly, Electrolysis.
The question paper was divided into various sections. Each section had a fixed number of questions out of which students were required to answer a particular number of questions. The questions were based on an MCQ pattern, against which students had to mark correct responses in the OMR sheet.
Since the examination is now complete, the students now seem to be in search of the answer keys for the ICSE Chemistry paper. Although it still can’t be ascertained whether CISCE will release the official answer keys or not, various coaching centers and educators will start coming up with the ICSE Chemistry answer keys soon. Students can get hold of these answer keys from online platforms maintained by subject experts.
A few channels that are highly expected to release the exam analysis and answer keys are Vedantu 9&10, Physics bro-Vaibhav Agarwal, Study with Sudhir, Sir Tarun Rupani, Clarify Knowledge by Pranay Mishra, etc. It is advised that students and guardians keep an eye on these channels on YouTube to get the answer keys.
It must be noted that in case the answer keys are not available right now, then the students should wait for some time and check the same later on. As and when they are released, students can use them and calculate a tentative score in ICSE Chemistry. As already mentioned, these answer keys are unofficial and students should not rely on them completely.
