The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has successfully concluded the ICSE class 10 Biology – Science Paper 3 exam today, i.e. December 15, 2021. The exam was conducted for a duration of 60 minutes starting from 11 AM. Students were given a duration of 10 minutes for reading the question paper. The question paper cum answer booklet was distributed by 10:50 AM, allotting 10 mins to go through the paper before beginning to mark responses.
Right after the conclusion of the exam, various coaching institutes and subject experts have released the ICSE Biology answer key 2021 on platforms such as YouTube and Telegram. Students can access them from these platforms and crosscheck the answers for calculating a tentative score. These answer keys will also give an idea about the student’s overall performance in the exam.

The examination was held for a total of 40 marks. The Council had already released the bifurcated syllabus on its official website cisce.org. CISCE has also renewed the pattern for holding the examinations this time. Questions were asked from a total of two complete units in the examination. These units are Basic Biology and Plant Physiology. Moreover, the question paper had various sections with each section having objective-type questions. Students were required to mark their answers in an OMR sheet.
Till this point, it is unclear whether CISCE will release the official answer keys or not. However, the educators and the coaching institutes have now come up with unofficial answer keys which will help the students analyze their performance in the ICSE Biology examination. In due time, it is expected that more answer keys will be. However, as and when they are released, students can use them and calculate a tentative score in the ICSE Biology examination.
Please keep in mind that since these are unofficial answer keys, students should go through more than one of them. This is because these answer keys do not guarantee 100% accuracy. CISCE does not verify the unofficial answer keys and hence they must only be used for reference purposes. Using the marking scheme, they will be able to calculate a tentative score.
