ICAR Central Institute of Fisheries Technology is inviting applications for the post of Technical Assistant. The recruitment is on a transfer basis. This means that online already existing employees of ICAR Institutes/Head Quarters/Project Directorate/NRCs can apply for the announced posts. The conducting body has announced a total of 02 vacancies for Technical Assistant. Eligible candidates can submit their application form before the last date which is August 25, 2020. The post of Technical Assistant is announced for different department. 01 vacancy is under Technical Assistant (Instrument Technician) (Workshop Staff including Engineering Workshop Staff) and 01 for Technical Assistant (Senior Library Assistant) (Library/Information/ Documentation Staff). The vacancies under Instrument Technician is for unreserved category. Vacancies announced for Senior Library Assistant is reserved for ST category candidates only.
To apply for Technical Assistant (Instrument Technician) (Workshop Staff including Engineering Workshop Staff), the candidate must hold the analogous post. This means they must have served for 05 years as Technical Assistant (Instrument Technician) under the functional group workshop staff including the engineering work shop staff. Those who have worked for 05 years on regular basis as Technical Assistant (SeniorLibrary Assistant) under the functional group Library/Information/Document nation staff can apply for Technical Assistant (Senior Library Assistant) (Library/Information/ Documentation Staff). Make sure that candidates have served regular service at ICAR Institutes/Head Quarters/Project Directorate/NRCs.
The eligible officials have to submit their applications for the announced posts through the offline process only. They have to download the form from http://cift.res.in. In the application form, they have to mention their name, designation in which they are working for, name of the ICAR institute where they are currently working, name of the post, category and functional group they were initially appointed, category, educational and technical qualification. Candidates are advised to carefully submit their service details such as post held, pay scale, period, nature of duties performed and the name of the institute.
Candidates are asked to submit their email id along with the application form. They must provide their ICAR email address with phone number preferably. Officials are asked to provide the reason for their transfer to Technical Assistant post. Applicants have to write a minimum of 100 words and attach necessary documents in support of their reasons. The reason can be on medical ground, working spouse ground, superannuation, service in a difficult area and any other reason.
