Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has issued the admit card for CA May 2019 exam for Foundation, Intermediate, and Final. The admit card has been released online on May 06, 2019. The candidates can download their admit card online at icaiexam.icai.org. The Institute does not send the hard copy of the CA May Admit Card to the candidates individually by post.
To download the CA Admit Card for Foundation, IPCC, and Final, candidates need to visit the official website of the institute. On the homepage of the website, candidates need to provide their Login ID and Password. Click on the “Login” button to submit the details and then in the next screen, click on the relevant link for downloading the admit card. Finally, download and take a print out of the CA May Admit Card to bring the same on the day of the test.
The Institute has also shifted the zone/ city for the exam some candidates. Due to paucity of accommodation in certain Zones opted by the candidates in the cities of Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune and Vadodara some of the candidates have been allotted examinations centers in the zone other than the zone opted by them in the said cities. Certain students who had opted Malappuram City have been shifted to Kozhikode City.
The admit card consist of personal as well as exam details of the candidate. It consists of information like candidate’s name, address, roll number, exam/ group(s)/ unit, city, medium of the paper, registration number, mobile number, center of examination, candidate’s photo and signature.
On the day of the test, candidates need to carry a print out of the CA Admit Card 2019. Along with the admit card, candidates should also carry one stamp size photograph (matching with the photograph affixed on the attested letter) to the exam center for affixing the same at the appropriate place in the attendance register. In case if a candidate is appearing for unit/both groups carry two stamp size photograph.
After downloading the admit card, candidates must check that the details printed on the Admit Card are correct or not. In case there is an error in the detail(s) printed on the Admit Card, then in such a case, candidates should contact the concerned authorities about this. However, if there is no photograph and signature of yours on the admit card, it is still valid. In such a case, candidate can paste their photograph and affix signatures in the area marked on the printout of the admit card and get the page attested by a member of the Institute (member may indicate his/her Name, membership number, and office stamp while signing/attesting at the bottom of that page) and carry the same to the examination center.

ICAI recently released a notification regarding the postponement of exam for CA Final and Foundation May exam. Paper – 3 of Foundation Examination and Paper 4 & 5 of Final Examination {Old as well as New Scheme} stand postponed.
For CA Final Group 1, Paper – 4, Corporate & Allied Laws (Old Scheme), and Group I, Paper – 4 Corporate and Economic Laws (New Scheme) the exam has now been rescheduled to June 04, 2019.
CA Final May 2019 exam for Group II, Paper – 5, Advanced Management Accounting (Old Scheme), and for Group II, Paper – 5 Strategic Cost Management & Performance Evaluation (New Scheme), the exam will now be conducted on June 13, 2019.
Furthermore, for the Foundation Examination, Paper – 3, Business Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, and Statistics, the reschedule date is June 13, 2019.
