The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the CA 2021 exam dates for the Intermediate (IPC) course and Final programmers. Along with this, the date of the Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) technical exam and International Taxation Assessment Test (INTT-AT) are also out.
The CA Intermediate (IPC) course exam under the old scheme will be held on 22, 24, 27 & 29 May 2021 for Group 1. The exam for Group 2 is due to be held on 31 May, 2 & 4 June 2021.
The exam date for CA Intermediate 2021 under the new scheme will be held on 22, 24, 27 & 29 May 2021 for Group 1 and on 31st May, 2, 4 & 6 June 2021 for Group 2.
The exam date for the Final course under the old and new scheme is the same. The exam will be held on 21, 23, 25 & 28 May 2021 for Group 1 and 30 May, 1, 3 & 5 June 2021 for group 2.
The exam dates for the Members, that is, Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) technical exam are 21, 23, 25 & 28 May 2021. For the International Taxation Assessment Test (INTT-AT) the exam dates have been fixed as 21 and 23 May 2021.
There will be no exam on 26 May 2021 (Wednesday) on account of Buddha Purnima, which is a compulsory (gezetted) Central Government holiday.

All the Elective Paper – 6 of Final Examinations (under New Scheme) are of 4 hours. However, all other examinations are of 3 hours duration. The examination for all papers of Intermediate (IPC) (Old Scheme), Intermediate (New Scheme), and Final (Old Scheme) will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm. But the Paper 1 to 5 & Paper 7 & 8 for the Final (New Scheme) will be held from 3 pm to 7 pm.
The Post Qualification Course Examinations i.e. IRM Technical Examination and (INTT – AT) will be also held from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Candidates have to apply online for the ICAI May 2021 exams. The official website is icaiexam.icai.org and the registrations are open from 31 March to 13 April 2021. After April 13, candidates still apply for ICAI exams until April 16, 2021, but with an additional late fee of Rs. 600, for Domestic & Kathmandu centers, and US$ 10 for Overseas centers. The application fee can be paid online only using VISA or MASTER or MAESTRO Credit / Debit Card / Rupay Card / Net Banking / Bhim UPI.
The CA IPC and Final exams will be also held across the overseas centres, in addition to the Indian centres. The overseas centres will be allocated at Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Doha, Dubai, Kampala (Uganda), Kathmandu, Kuwait, Muscat.
Candidates of Intermediate (IPC), Intermediate, and Final (Old & New Scheme) Examinations will be allowed to opt for English / Hindi medium for answering papers. However, the medium of Examinations will be only English in respect of Post Qualification Course viz.: Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination and International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT – AT).
