Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is expected to release CA Inter and Final admit card 2021 in the second week of June 2021. After much delay, the exams for CA Intermediate 2021 and CA Final 2021 will commence from July 05, 2021. Furthermore, a detailed schedule regarding the exams shall be released by authorities in due course of time.
The expected date for the release of the admit card is based on last year. In 2020, ICAI conducted the CA Foundation, Intermediate and Final exams from November 21 to December 14, 2020. For these exams, the institute release admit card on November 01, 2021. Hence, it is expected that for the upcoming exams, the CA admit card will be released between June 8 to 15, 2021.
Before releasing the admit card, ICAI will also release the official notification for the same. In it, the exact date for the release of the admit card will be mentioned.
The candidates will be able to download CA admit card from icai.org. To do so, candidates need to visit the website and then click on the “Login / Register” tab. Next, the candidates need to access the login by entering Login Id and Password. After this, candidates can download admit card from the dashboard.
On the exam day, candidates will have to carry a hard copy of the admit card. Along with it, candidates need to carry one valid ID card and 2 stamp size photograph. If there is no photo on the admit card or if it is unclear then the candidates need to carry one extra stamp size photo. All the stamp size photos should be the same.
ICAI was to conduct CA exams in May-June 2021. However, due to the second wave of COVID the exams had to be postponed. Authorities also stated that the pandemic situation shall be reviewed later and a new schedule shall be released subsequently on the official website. A 25 day notice period shall also be given before conducting the exams to provide adequate reaction time to students.
ICAI shall be conducting the CA Intermediate and final exams under both new and old scheme for various post-qualification courses. These include the Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination and International Taxation–Assessment Test (INTT-AT) exams. These exams which were scheduled to begin from May 31, 2021, are now scheduled to begin from Monday, July 05, 2021, across all countries. Meanwhile, all candidates are advised to visit the official website and reliable sources regularly for important updates, especially during this period of uncertainty and rumour-mongering.
